These terms cover how SerpInsight sells link insertions and related SEO work: how orders are placed, what you approve before anything goes live, what the 12-month replacement guarantee does and doesn’t cover, and where our liability ends. We can’t guarantee rankings, and we say so plainly below.
By ordering work from SerpInsight you’re agreeing to what follows. It’s written to be read, not to be skimmed past — there’s nothing buried, and if a clause seems unfair, say so before you order and we’ll discuss it.
What we provide
SerpInsight sells link insertions (also called niche edits), which means placing a link to your page inside an article that already exists on a third-party website, is already indexed, and already has readers. We also sell guest posting, blogger outreach, SEO audits, on-page work and local SEO, each scoped separately.
We’re an independent supplier. We don’t own the websites we place links on, we can’t compel a publisher to keep a link forever, and nothing in these terms makes us your agent or gives us authority to act in your name beyond the specific work you’ve ordered.
How are orders placed and approved?
Every placement goes through the same sequence, and the approval step is not optional on our side.
-
You brief us
Target URL, the query or topic it should be relevant to, any anchor preferences, and any sites you don’t want us to approach. Accuracy here matters — see your responsibilities below.
-
We source and vet a host
Against our published standard: at least 1,000 monthly organic visits, the host page indexed and ranking for a real keyword, shared search intent with your page, and three or more other articles on that site in the same topic cluster.
-
You approve the host page
We send you the URL, its metrics, and the paragraph we propose to edit. Nothing is placed until you say yes. If you reject it, we source another at no extra cost.
-
We place the link
Typically within 7–14 days of approval, subject to the publisher’s own schedule.
-
We report
You get the live URL, the anchor used and the date of placement. That date starts the 12-month guarantee period.
An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing and payment terms are agreed. We may decline any order, and we do decline some — casino, adult, pharmaceutical and loan niches among them, plus anything we think we can’t deliver honestly.
What the 12-month replacement guarantee covers
For 12 months from the placement date, if a link stops doing what it was sold to do, we replace it free on a host of equal or better standard. That’s the promise. Here’s the boundary, stated precisely so nobody has to argue about it later.
| Situation | Covered? |
|---|---|
| Publisher removes the link | Yes — free replacement |
| Link changed to nofollow or sponsored without prior agreement | Yes — free replacement |
| Host page returns a 404 or is taken down | Yes — free replacement |
| Host page is deindexed by the search engine | Yes — free replacement |
| Host site’s traffic declines after placement | No — traffic fluctuates on every site |
| You change or delete your own target URL without telling us | No |
| Your page is penalised for reasons unrelated to our placement | No |
| Rankings don’t improve | No — see the disclaimer below |
To claim, email us with the placement URL. We’ll verify it and start sourcing a replacement, which follows the same approval process as the original. The guarantee covers replacement rather than cash; where a refund applies instead, the refund policy sets out exactly when.
What you’re responsible for
- Giving us accurate target URLs. A typo in a URL becomes a link to a 404 on someone else’s website, and that one is genuinely painful to fix.
- Telling us before you change, redirect or delete a target URL we’ve placed links to. Redirects usually survive; deletions don’t.
- Confirming you have the right to promote the page you’ve given us and that its content is lawful in the markets it targets.
- Reviewing approval requests within a reasonable window. Publishers reallocate slots, and a host we held for you three weeks ago may be gone.
- Telling us about other link building running in parallel, so the anchor distribution across your whole profile stays sane.
Payment
Placements are priced per link by host tier: $87 for Starter hosts (DR 30–45, 1,000+ monthly organic visits), $147 for Growth (DR 45–60, 5,000+), $247 for Authority (DR 60+, 10,000+). Bulk orders take 10% off at 10 or more links and 15% at 25 or more. Current pricing is always on the pricing page and the price confirmed on your order is the price you pay, even if we change the published rates afterwards.
Orders are payable in advance unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing, because we pay publishers before you see a live link. Invoices for agreed credit terms are due within 14 days. If an invoice goes unpaid we may pause work on that account, and we’ll tell you before we do rather than after.
The honest disclaimer about rankings
No SEO provider can guarantee rankings, including us
Search engines rank pages using systems we don’t control, don’t get told about in advance and can’t appeal. Google changes its algorithms continually, competitors invest at the same time you do, and query intent shifts underneath everyone. A link insertion is a considered input into that system. It is not a purchase of position 3.
So: we guarantee the placement — vetted host, agreed anchor, live link, replaced free for 12 months if it fails. We do not guarantee any ranking, traffic level, conversion rate or revenue outcome, and any projection we discuss with you is a plan rather than a commitment. Anyone in this industry who tells you differently is selling you the guarantee, not the result.
Your acknowledgement about paid links
This clause exists because pretending otherwise would be dishonest. Paying for links that pass ranking signals is contrary to Google’s published spam policies on link schemes. That’s not a grey area we’re going to talk you out of noticing.
By ordering, you acknowledge that you understand this, that you’re accepting the associated risk knowingly, and that the possible consequences include devaluation of individual links or manual action against a site. We reduce exposure the ways that are actually available — hosts with real readers and real rankings, editorial context that reads naturally, conservative velocity, anchor distributions weighted toward branded and partial-match rather than exact-match. We can’t eliminate it, we don’t claim to, and we’d rather you ordered with your eyes open. If that risk isn’t acceptable to you, don’t buy links, from us or anyone.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profits, lost revenue, lost business opportunity, or loss of rankings or traffic — however they arise.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be limited.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights in your website, brand and any materials you send us. You grant us permission to reference your target URLs and brand names in outreach for the duration of the work. We keep the rights in our own methodology, templates, vetting criteria and site content. Reports and audits we produce for you are yours to use inside your business; publishing them commercially needs our agreement first.
We won’t name you as a client, publish results about your site or use your logo without your written permission. That applies to anonymized case studies too.
Termination
Either of us can end an ongoing engagement with 14 days’ written notice. Placements already approved and in progress get completed and invoiced. Work paid for but not yet started is refunded under the refund policy. The 12-month replacement guarantee survives termination for every link already placed — ending the relationship doesn’t cancel what we already promised.
We may terminate immediately if an account goes materially unpaid, or if we discover the work would involve content that’s unlawful or that we’d decline on the grounds set out above.
Disputes and governing law
If something goes wrong, email us first. Most disagreements in this business come from unclear expectations rather than bad faith, and a conversation resolves them faster than anything formal. We commit to responding to any complaint within 24 hours and to working toward a fair resolution in good faith before either side escalates.
Where formal escalation becomes necessary, the governing law and the jurisdiction for disputes will be the one specified in your individual engagement agreement or order confirmation. We don’t state a jurisdiction here because it depends on where both parties are based, and naming one that turns out to be wrong helps nobody.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when the order was confirmed, so a later change doesn’t retroactively alter what you agreed to. Active clients get told about material changes by email.
Questions about any clause here go to hello@serpinsightlinkinsertion.in.net or through the contact page. Our privacy policy covers how we handle your data, and the planning scenarios show how we’d approach a campaign before you commit to one.
